RESOURCE LIBRARIES
The Resource
Library houses a special collection of multi-media, multi-cultural
health promotion and disease prevention educational resources,
including preschool through twelfth grade science-based education
curricula to be implemented in schools or other community settings,
videos and interactive, 3-D models and displays on a variety of
topics.
Some of the
topics that are included in our collection include: alcohol, tobacco
and other drugs, violence prevention, sexuality, sexual health,
eating disorders, nutrition, parenting, and other health related
subjects. Additionally, we have many community development
resources, ranging in subjects from strategic planning and
facilitation, to healthy communities and adults working with
youth.
Typical patrons
include school health teachers, college health professionals,
parents, board of health members, coalition members, CHNA members and others.
Resources are
available for loan to all community members at no charge.
